Project Sixty-One Ministries
Restoring Hope. Healing Hearts. Walking in Freedom.
Project Sixty-One Ministries is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to restoring hope, healing hearts, and helping people walk in freedom — rooted in the promises of Isaiah 61.
About the Ministry
Rooted in Isaiah 61. Built for the Broken.
Project Sixty-One Ministries serves individuals whose lives have been affected by trauma, addiction, incarceration, loss, and other difficult experiences. The name is intentional — Isaiah 61 is a passage about good news for the poor, healing for the brokenhearted, freedom for the captive, and comfort for those who grieve.
The ministry's signature initiative is Bound & Set Free™, an eight-week, faith-integrated emotional healing program. Through biblical truth, trauma-informed education, guided reflection, group discussion, and practical emotional-regulation tools, participants learn to understand their experiences, recognize unhealthy patterns, manage difficult emotions, rebuild their identities, and respond to life in healthier ways.
Project Sixty-One also equips the church itself through The Safe Church Initiative™ — a Christ-centered, trauma-informed training program designed for everyone who helps shape the culture of a congregation, from senior leaders and pastors to volunteers, greeters, and nursery teams. Because every interaction helps shape the culture of a church.
Together, these programs reflect a single conviction: healing is possible, purpose can be restored, and the church can be a place where truth and compassion work together.
