Dr. Rebekah C. Lloyd has lived in the places most people only study — war zones, courtrooms, classrooms, sanctuaries, and the long quiet work of healing. She does not speak from theory alone. She speaks from the places she has survived and the healing she has pursued.
Who She Is
Dr. Rebekah C. Lloyd is a U.S. Army combat veteran, adoptive mother, doctor of strategic leadership, researcher, author, speaker, and consultant. Her life has moved through seasons of war, loss, faith, healing, and purpose — and she has refused to let any of those seasons be wasted.
She holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership and a Master of Public Administration, with an undergraduate foundation in psychology. Her scholarly work sits at the intersection of trauma, resilience, faith, and organizational health. She is the founder of the Lloyd Center for Trauma-Informed Leadership, the Lloyd Consulting Firm, and Project Sixty-Six Ministries — three distinct expressions of a single conviction: that healing is not the end of the story. It is where the real work begins.
Military Service
She served in combat so others could live freely.
Dr. Lloyd served as a U.S. Army soldier and deployed to combat zones where she witnessed the full weight of war — its cost, its camaraderie, and its lasting imprint on the human soul. Her military service shaped her understanding of leadership under pressure, the bonds forged in crisis, and the invisible wounds that veterans carry home. It also planted the seeds of her life's work: helping people lead from their wounds rather than hiding them.
Adoption & Motherhood
She chose children the world had overlooked.
Dr. Lloyd is an adoptive mother — a role she describes as one of the most profound and stretching experiences of her life. The journey of adoption deepened her understanding of attachment, trauma, identity, and unconditional love. It also gave her a personal window into the systems that shape vulnerable children and the families who fight for them. Her experience as a mother informs everything she teaches about healing, belonging, and the kind of leadership that sees people fully.
Faith & Ministry
She found that broken places can become holy ground.
Dr. Lloyd's faith is not a performance — it is the foundation beneath everything she does. Through Project Sixty-One Ministries and the Bound & Set Free healing framework, she walks alongside people who are tired of pretending they are fine. Her ministry is rooted in the conviction that Scripture speaks directly to the wounded, the weary, and the searching — and that the church is most itself when it makes room for honest healing.

Dr. Lloyd holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership and a Master of Public Administration, with an undergraduate foundation in psychology. Her doctoral research is focused on trauma-informed leadership, organizational resilience, and the neuroscience of healing. Her academic work bridges the gap between scholarly research and practical application — translating complex findings from neuropsychology, neuroscience, and theology into frameworks that real leaders and organizations can use.
